BPL: Liverpool 2-0 Bolton
Liverpool played a very sloppy game tonight, except for the final 20 minutes when Muamba was replaced by Elmander. Muamba was marking Gerrard brilliantly and clearly Gerrard was very uncomfortable about it. Once Muamba was out, Gerrard displayed a very skillful attacking style that contributed to the set up of Liverpool’s second goal.
Ngog still has stage-fright and loses a lot of balls and chances. I still believe that Ngog is not a first eleven material and should be replaced soon. Even Bolton’s Lee Chung-yoon looks way better than him.
Insua is the MOTM and nearly scored his first goal ever for Liverpool.
Now, where’s that 4th spot?
Highlights and goals of the game here.

My BlackBerry Bold 9000 (White)
It has been 3 months since I bought my BlackBerry Bold 9000 White Edition. The white Bold is quite hard to find in the Malaysian market (even the local telcos don’t have it) and because of that, some shops in KL are selling it for over RM400 premium price than the normal black Bold. In my opinion, that’s not a reason to sell a BB Bold much more expensive than the black covered Bold, as RIM in the US of A sells the white Bold with the same price bracket with the black Bold. Since white is the new black, I’m all up for it and don’t really mind the extra dole I have to fork out for it.
To tell you the truth, not all mobile users are into Blackberrys. They said that the phones are targeted to the businessmen/women, office workers, email maniacs (hey!) and some stupid rich people. You may be wrong by branding it like that. Why? After spending a good and solid 3 months with it, I think I can’t live without one! Please read on.
In my line of work, email communications are very important. And I’m using my email for some social activities as well (read: porn). And in average, I received about 60 work emails and 80 social emails (mostly Facebook updates and again, porn). To me, having to read emails wherever I am is important, hence having a BlackBerry for a phone (thank God for push email technology!). Wanna know what other things I’m using my BB for? Continue below:
- BlackBerry Messenger: This has become one of my main app lately, due to its ease of usage and convenient. This app is the BB equivalent of Yahoo Messenger, but limited only to the users of BlackBerrys. Identification is by PIN (eight-digit personal identification number unique to each BB set) and email;
- Yahoo Messenger and Google Talk;
- Daily Alarm;
- EPL live score;
- Facebook;
- BlackBerry App World: something like the iTunes store, but for BB. Lots of free apps as well;
- Daily weather: Updated online;
- Minor internet browsing;
- Some photo taking (if I found something worth taking);
- GPS and Maps;
- Music while waiting for something.
In my opinion, having a BlackBerry device is something like having any other mobile phone, but a little bit more personalise. Just like the American Express, you can’t leave home without your BlackBerry.
Earlier this month, both Maxis and Celcom announced the availability of the new Bold 9700 for the RRP of RM2,099 (device only without contract). Shall I upgrade? That is the real question.

Video: Melepasmu – Drive
tak mungkin menyalahkan waktu
tak mungkin menyalahkan keadaan
kau datang di saat ku membutuhkanmu
dari masalah hidupku bersamanya
chorus:
semakin ku menyayangimu
semakin ku harus melepasmu dari hidupku
tak ingin lukai hatimu lebih dari ini
kita tak mungkin trus bersama
satu saat nanti kau kan dapatkan
seorang yang akan dampingi hidupmu
biarkan ini menjadi kenangan
dua hati yang tak pernah menyatu
repeat chorus
maafkan aku yang membiarkanmu
masuk ke dalam hidupku ini
maafkan aku yang harus melepasmu
walau ku tak ingin

Oakley: Denzel’s Inmate
I was waiting for “Legion” to start when the trailer for Denzel Washington’s latest movie “The Book of Eli” was shown. I dunno much about the movie but you can watch the trailer using the link below.
Something familiar about the sunglasses that Denzel wore in the movie. Then I realised that he’s wearing the silver version of Oakley Inmate. Surely looks good on him. I even got one myself, but in Ducati livery. I was thinking of selling the Inmate, but after seeing Denzel wearing it, I guess I’m keeping it for good.
Catch the “The Book of Eli” and “Legion” trailers on YouTube.

What is a Kiss?
I’ve kissed a lot of people in my lifetime (wiki explaination here). Mostly women and children. Most recently was my nieces and nephews. No kissing on the mouth, just cheeks.
But what really is a kiss? Is it a symbol of love? Fondness? Sexual? Or just plain kinky?
I really like to show to the people I love by the act of kissing (sorry, no kissing of adult guys). Be it my mom, grandmom (aka opah), close female friends and children.
I have no problem kissing people that are related to me, but what’s the proper way of kissing a close female friend? I was told that a single peck on the right cheek is the right way to do it, but if you feels that you’re close to the lady, both cheeks will do (and it’s not really kissing on the cheeks at all, just touching her cheek with yours). But I saw some people kissing their friends thrice (right cheek first, then left and finishes off on the right). If you practises this, mind telling me which is which?
Some honest opinions, please.

Video: Biarkan Berlalu – Hello
letih aku bila menatap
segala kisah dalam dirimu
pengorbanan dan penantian
hanya terbuang dan sia-sia
kau hempaskan tubuh ini
kau goreskan luka hati
chorus:
takkan aku kenal lagi
tulus cinta yang kau beri
pergilah cintaku
lupakan dirinya
takkan aku ingat lagi
sakit hati yang kau beri
pergilah cintaku
biarkan berlalu

My first trip to the fish spa
Call me anything, but I really do take care of my feet. My right knee might be failing me, but I still got my two feet to stand up to. Therefore, a treat for my feet is the order of the day. I don’t really like anybody touching my feet (for hygienic reasons, ehem!), so a trip to the local fish spa is possibly the right thing to do.
Like any other fish spa, their modus operandi is almost the same. They used the same kind of fish, which is the Garra rufa (or commonly known as the doctor fish). The fish feed on the dead areas of the skin (in this case the feet) by nimbling on it. The feeling is surreal and can’t be described. It feels like small electric current flowing through your feet. You’ll spend a good 10 minutes adjusting to the tingling feeling, and will be smooth sailing after that.
I was told that some fish spas used a different kind of fish, but the fish did not feed on our dead skins. They just like to nimble at our feet without actually eating the dead skins. It may gives the same feeling like the fish is eating something but in reality it is not. In short, no point going to a fish spa and your dead skins still hanging around on you. Better off jumping into a crocodile-infested river and let the crockies licked your skins clean, innit?
The fish spa that I went to is in Sunway Pyramid, called Foot Master Fish Spa ( at LG2.89 Marrakesh). They charged RM38 for half an hour service. Please note that they also sell various products for weight loss (wtf?) and some foot pain balms, and they tend to talk to you while you’re soaking your feet in the aquarium. Other than that, the whole experience is unforgettable. Will I come again? A sounding YES!

BPL: Liverpool 2-0 Tottenham
Liverpool managed to score 2 goals (both from Dirk Kuyt) and played a menacing game against the ever charging Spurs. The win against Spurs in so important that Benitez fielded Aquilani (starting in the first eleven) and newly signed Maxi Rodriguez. By winning this game, Liverpool is only one point from the 4th place Spurs.
You can watch the goals and highlights here.

Bomoh (shaman), anyone?
I was attending my cousin’s wedding last Sunday when I saw this banner near my car. I didn’t know that shamans are advertising their business now? Business must be THAT bad, I guess. But with devils wearing human mask (aka “setan bertopengkan manusia“) walking among us now, shouldn’t the shamans been busy doing their stuff? Or is it the business of shamanying (is there such a word?) is too crowded nowadays?
Again, this is NOT an advertisement.

Nadal’s new shoes
The Australian Open for 2010 has started today. Normally my curiosity lies on what shoes will Rafael Nadal wear every beginning of the year.
Nadal will wear the Nike Air Max Courtballistec 2.3 , which consists of Max Air cushioning, synthetic leather & mesh uppers for better ventilations, durable toe tip, lightweight LunarLite cushioning, molded sockliner and ultra-durable rubber outsole for super longlife, in the white/orange/black colorway. In short, you’ll forgot that you’re playing tennis while wearing these babies.
The last time I checked, the shoes are not available in Malaysia yet, but it’s already in Nike’s online store since December 2009 for USD120.
